Marker Description: The Wyanokies - Primary access begins at the Weis Ecology Center located on Snake Den Road, Passaic.

Hewitt Butler Trail 6.8 miles begins at the Weis Center - markers Blue - head west, trail markers begin where before the road is paved turn left to merge with the Mine Trail - yellow on white - and clim Carris Hill, the trials separate at mile marker .3 take the trail to the right - just below the top of Wyanokie High Point the trail joins the Wyanokie Circlular Trial (red on white) at .08 - the trails separate take another right - the trial then ascends Yoo-Hoo Point and at 1.3 joins Carris Hill Trail (Yellow) at 1.8 views in may directions, - going down pass Post Brook Trail (white) stay right then bear left at 3.6 at the end of Otter Hole Trial (green) , cross Post Brook then climb and cross Glenwild Ave. at 3.7. Then through the woods pass Torne Trial (red) and climb Torne Mountain. Great Views. Descend west cross brook - level out slow rise another brook then at Camp, Vacamus at Henion Pond, end.
