NJ Sunfish Pond Dunnfield Trail
Marker Description: There is a big parking area here (at the marker) where it is safe to leave your car over night but you can make the loop in a day. The hike to Sunfish Pond is a good day hike.

You'll climb along the beautiful Dunnfield Creek and then pass an authorized campground on your left, with bathroom facilities (hole no running water) and then head to Sunfish Pond. If you keep going around and past the pond you get to a look out of the Delaware River to the North and the reservoir to the East. If you loop along a fire road Along the fire road, where if you're lucky you can hear the wolves howling form the Lakota Wolf Preserve, down in the valley, you will reach the top of Mount Tammany, with great views of the Gap and the surrounding area.
