Marker Description: Trout - March produces tremendous Blue-Wing Olive and midge hatches. May and June, sulphurs and caddisflies. Summer stick with ants, beetles, crickets - terrestrials. A good crayfish fly pattern works well too. This is a limestone stream with lots of life.

History:
In 1934, Spring Creek became the first specially managed quality fishing area in North America. In the 1970s the fish were declared too polluted to eat, a la Scarface. This lead to catch-and-release policy that has improved the fishery. You so polluted but not so polluted you can't spawn.
