NJ Rockaway Creek, Park Trail
Marker Description: The Rockaway River at Rolling River Trail is a public access point (part of a park with orange signs easily delineated) with a small parking pull over at the head of the trail. It may be better to drive down to the true parking area down the road and fish up.

The Rockaway Creek is full of native browns. This is the first area that you can get public access to the river. the public access area starts where the orange signs state wildlife sanctuary. Happy trails trouters!

Tossed metal, no strikes, water high and clear, surprising no strikes but only there ten minutes before dark set.

Fished today at 2:00 p.m. at the sun was blazin. Saw a lot of trout but they were sluggish. Caught three on the No. 2 Silver Panther Martin with rainbow trout pattern. Caught a bunch of chubs too.
