PA Cherry Creek, Larsen Ln Bridge
Marker Description: The Cherry Creek at the Larsen Lane Bridge has no signage for trespassing, however, there are lawns manicured to its banks. Fishing off the rock ledge next to the bridge is, in my opinion, acceptable. There are lunker rainbows and browns in the deep pool below the bridge.

Took a few casts, no fish in sight, normally see a least a follow, water was high and clear.

Fished with my friend Rick and he caught 4 or so including a native 16 inch brown that we cooked up for dinner. Fished below at the next bridge down and Rick had a monster jumping out of the water after his rapala but no take. Fn SWEET!!!!

Cherry was high and a little discolored - perfect. Caught one 12 inch river chub and a 12 inch rainbow. had a few big swirls. Not bad for 10 minutes off a bridge. No time to work down below or even put my waders on, shame, conditions were outstanding for the big boys.

My buddy landed a very big bow today on a rapala and my GoPro was titled up. Here is the fight that you can't see and I took off the sound because I was saying things that you shouldn't have to hear, so the mute titled up vid is not really worth watching. See link below:

Didn't want to trespass so I fished from the rock outcropping of the bridge with an egg pattern and green size 14 nymph dropper. Landed a 19 inch brown and a 16 inch brookie. These were slender but crazed trout released with plenty of life, brown took the egg, brookie took the nymph. I also saw a brown well over twenty that followed a chub that I hooked under the bridge.

This is quite an amazing honey hole. Great to take a kid for a sure fire big trout without worry or loss of interest.

I fished today from the rock retention wall along the downstream side of the bridge. Fishing with a pink trout magnet I caught a 14 inch chub that I thought was a nice brook trout until it came in close. A beautiful fish even though it was a lousy fall fish. When I was fishting it I saw a monster. A few casts later I caught it. Not the best fight for a 20.5 inch bow but a gift just the sam. And the water temps were fine - gin clear ice cold water. See my pics.
