PA Cedar Creek Canal
Marker Description: Cedar Creek Canal has some nice little brown trout in it, stories of enormous rainbows may have been the case some time back, but not anymore. No monsters left, perhaps because fishermen creeled them all to make way for native brown trout or because the family that stocks Cedar Creek moved them to the Creek itself (from other online site histories). Regardless, it appears that currently this canal as well as the section of Cedar Creek in the Park has now been marked as catch and release by the PADFG.

Made the trip to confirm whether huge fish are in the canal. Looked the whole length and found nothing but a few nice little natives.

Stopped in to check whether there are really any lunkers and confirmed that there are only a few native browns, which I could not catch.
