NJ White Lake, Warren County
Marker Description: White Lake is a gin clear natural lake owned by Warren County open to boaters with paddles or electric motors only. The lake is shallow at the edges and then drops of with a steep ledge. I've heard this stems from the fact that this was once a mining operation. There are good small mouth bass in the lake and trout in the early season as well as big holdovers.

Boaters often see osprey, swans and deer.

The land surrounding the Lake is also open to deer hunting.

Fished with my father from kayaks and we caught a few sunfish but had no other luck. I was amazed at how clear the Lake was with an greeninsh hue over the yellowish bottom around the edges. Very pretty but no luck. A guy coming off the lack caught a few nice small mouth bass.
