NJ Whippany River Malcolm Street Bridge
Marker Description: Park on Malcolm Road on either side of the bridge. This is a dead end street so it gets next to no traffic.

The Whippany River at this bridge has some nice deep pools above and looks shallow for a ways below. The river here has a north jersey feel, it looks cold enough and fishy enough to hold trout but it also looks polluted. I like the feel of streams like this. THe Whippany upstream is so killer that it makes you wonder. I threw rapalas through the pics attached and had not so much as a strike.

Too warm to fish now but I have heard some stories of trout way down past Morristown. Will have to fish and report.
