NJ Spruce Run Reservoir
Marker Description: Spruce Run Reservoir is a shallow reservoir with a solid hybrid striped bass fishery. Most successful reports involve live lining herring at ten to twenty feet in depth.

Decent large mouth and walleye fishery as well. Lakers stocked but no real holdover population, some browns - which run up the Mulhockaway Creek in the fall.

Boat fee during the day. Free after the workers leave around 4:30 PM.

Reports on multiple hybrid stripers on live bait in 8 to 15 feet. Boats tend to group in the right areas if you don't know where to fish.
