Seems like the SBR s starting to bounce back. I am not catching the numbers that I did last year, but the fish I am catching are bigger on average. I had two gorgeous 15" and 16" browns last week within 3 casts of each other. No pix. Really good news about this section likely becoming a WTS, tho I would like to see more protection given to the browns than is planned.

I fished for an hour this morning and caught a very nice 14-15" fall stocker that I released, plus had another hook-up of a nice one that came off. Also had several follows from similar sized fish. Beaded woolley bugger. Good to know the fall population is sticking around
Then on the way back home I stopped at a favorite spot in Claremont that produced very well for me this past season with browns and brookies, and didn't see a thing. I am very worried what the summer drought did to the wild trout population.
