There were five other bass boats on the Lake by the time we got there at 10AM. talked to a guy and his young son - the kid had caught a sunny by the cement outflow and a monster muskie chased it in but did not connect. Also talked to two guys trolling with six to eight inch lures that had a 40 plus muskie follow but not strike. The dock was filled with old dudes fishing. We fished big with no luck and then switched to smaller gear and landed some nice LMB, the biggest being about 16 inches. The bass fought really well. We left at about 2PM and headed to the Delaware in P-burg and caught a bunch of small SMB to 13 inches while dodging the tubers. It was overcast yesterday so the Delaware was very good, even in the middle of the day.

Going to drop the boat in today. Will let you know how many other boats and fishermen are out on this big weekend. See if NJFishing has spot burned this one, saw the funny fight over blowing up this gem. I think it is hilarious that NJFishing used to have such a robust forum and then a number of little spats about fish handling and spot burning caused a bunch of the best posters to stop providing the content that made the site fun to visit. A bunch of guys ****ing on other's posts now have less to **** on - still some good pike and hybrid posts but that's about all that's left. Still probably the best fishing site I know of for daily posts.

Scouted Furnace Lake today. Was surprised that the entire lake is walkable around three quarters of it with soccer fields on one side and knee high grass on the far side from the boat launch. The Lake also has a fake sand beach swimming area to the right of the launch and dock. I took a few casts but it was the middle of the day. Very small Lake with easy walking access, I will def give this little lake a try. I have also heard some great reports for muskies and I needs to get me one, brothas!
