Marker Description: Big trout exist at the the mouth of Buckhorn. I've caught 2 or 3 browns over 20". Another guy I know spent many days wading around Reigelsville to find the limestone springs. After he found them he would fish at night.

I once caught a 25" brown in the lower Pohatcong. The fish had a PA tag. Trout do move a lot and for 8 months of the year temperatures are trout friendly in the lower Delaware.

On a downer note, the best Delware trib fishing I am aware of (which was tough at its best) was before the stripers came back and flatfish catfish were introduced. Both are heavy predators of trout; in fact one guy I met who had a lot of success with flatheads was using 15" trout as bait.
