From Falls Road to York Road it is a mist covered riffle, pool, run, riffle, pool fantasmagoria of trout fishing. This stretch has an estimated 2,500 trout per mile, about 95% of which are brown trout. Spring fishing try 14 Hendricksons and Red Quills and watch for sulphur hatch in the spring - if you need to go subsurface try bead head nymphs sizes 8 through 14. Awesome scenic river.
