I've camped here a handful of times now. Great spot for a quick, no fuss get away. This is a VERY family/multi-family oriented camping ground. This is not a place to camp hoping to get away from it all. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the multi-family setups consisted of 20 people or more. If you get a spot in the thick of it all, it can be more of a party scene than a family camp site.

Having said that, if you can manage to get a spot away from the central bathrooms, then you should be able to have an enjoyable, uninterrupted stay... albeit the sounds of nature are replaced with laughter and music.

The facilities are large and nice. The majority of the campsites are grass and have ample shade. There's a small general store near the trail that leads to the beach. The main attraction is the beach which is a short 5-10 walk down a paved access road that leads to a large wood deck with snack bar and bathroom facilities that will take care of all your beach going needs.

Fishing, boating, swimming, etc are all alloyed.
