Jugtown Mountain Campground has some nice wooded sites that are rather far apart especially the site "xx" which may be a group site. The wooded area has large older growth trees with some nice boulders in spots. There is one area where the "SW" sites are a bit close together, like a long lane with close sites. There is also a residential trailer area, which is separated.

This is not the best site to hang out and revel in the great outdoors as you will hear the hum of Route 78 from these sites, there are no streams or water on site. But the woods are rather nice and this is also a good spot to stop if you are on your way somewhere and are traveling on Route 78 - it is only five minutes or less from Route 78 and there is a sign in both direction for the Jugtown Mountain Campground.

I did not find out the cost - called the number and no one answered but we drove back there and took some pictures of the "xx" site which is rather nice with some nice big boulders next to the spot. Again this could be a group site because it is very secluded.

Also, I think this could be a no problem with alcohol type situation - not sure but has that laid back I won't mess you vibe and stacked firewood at the office - you drive into the lot to the office and then through a trailer sales area then into some very big woods with little undergrowth.

Just drove back to check out what the sites look like - it is early spring and there was no one camping in a tent at this time - probably why there was no one at the office, even called and no one answered - there was stacked wood for sale. Check out the pics.
